From Revit to a photoreal render
Export a 3D view from Revit, drop it into Vizease and get a photoreal render back in under a minute — with your model’s geometry and camera exactly as you set them. No plugin, no render settings, no prompt.
Three steps
Set up a camera view
View → 3D View → Camera, then frame the image you want. The view is saved in the Project Browser, so you can return to it.
Export it
File → Export → Images and Animations → Image, as PNG or JPG, at least 1920 pixels wide.
Render it in Vizease
Upload, choose Exterior or Interior, press render.
Tips for the best result
- Keep the camera level
- With the eye and the target at the same height, vertical lines stay straight, the way architectural photographers shoot.
- Use the Realistic visual style
- It shows your material appearances, and Vizease reads colours and textures from the screenshot: wood stays wood, brick stays brick.
- Model the site
- A toposolid or floor with a green material becomes a lawn, and grey surfaces become paths and paving. Vizease plants only on unpaved ground and never adds paths that are not in your model.
- Hide what should not be in the picture
- The crop region, section box, levels, grids and annotations.
- Compose in Revit
- Vizease keeps your framing exactly and never moves the camera, so the view you export is the view you get.
- Families and people
- Furniture and other families are rendered in place. People are added only if you switch on Add People.
Why Revit users use Vizease
No plugin
It works from an image, so any Revit version works — including Revit LT, which has no built-in renderer.
Your design stays yours
Walls, openings and roof lines come back exactly as modelled.
Several views, one look
With Pro and Studio, render up to 5 views of the same project together, with matching materials and landscaping.
Up to 4K
Ready for client presentations.
Questions
- Do I need a plugin or add-in?
- No. Export an image from Revit and upload it.
- Does it work with Revit LT?
- Yes. Any version that can export an image or take a screenshot works.
- Do I need Enscape, V-Ray or Twinmotion?
- No. Vizease works from what the view shows, so no render engine or setup is needed.
