From Archicad to a photoreal render

Save a 3D view from Archicad, drop it into Vizease and get a photoreal render back in under a minute — with your model’s geometry and camera exactly as you set them. No plugin, no render settings, no prompt.

Three steps

  1. Set up a perspective

Open the 3D window in perspective, frame the image you want, and save the view in the Navigator so you can return to it.

  2. Save it as an image

With the 3D window active, File → Save As, then choose PNG or JPG, at least 1920 pixels wide.

  3. Render it in Vizease

Upload, choose Exterior or Interior, press render.

Tips for the best result

Keep the camera level
With the camera and the target at the same height, vertical lines stay straight.
Show shading and textures
Turn them on in the 3D window. Vizease reads colours and textures from the screenshot.
Model the terrain
A mesh with a green surface becomes a lawn, and grey slabs become paths and paving. Vizease plants only on unpaved ground and never adds paths that are not in your model.
Hide what should not be in the picture
Grids, markers, dimensions and the 3D cutaway.
Compose in Archicad
Vizease keeps your framing exactly and never moves the camera, so the view you save is the view you get.
Objects and people
Furniture and other objects are rendered in place. People are added only if you switch on Add People.

Why Archicad users use Vizease

  • No plugin

It works from an image, so any Archicad version works.

  • Faster than setting up CineRender

No materials to tune, no lights to place, no waiting for a render engine.

  • Several views, one look

With Pro and Studio, render up to 5 views of the same project together, with matching materials and landscaping.

  • Up to 4K

    Ready for client presentations.
